People who suffer pain from an injury or wear and tear of the joints often do not know where to turn for help. Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers is offering free pain and injury screens given by licensed professionals trained in musculoskeletal conditions. The complimentary pain and injury assessments are offered at all 250 Accelerated locations in the states of Arizona, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, Missouri and Wisconsin, with a large number of centers in Chicago and surrounding communities. 
The 30-minute assessment includes:
– Hands-on musculoskeletal evaluation of patient’s injury/pain location
– Evaluation of Muscle strength, joint stability, and flexibility
– Range of motion and mobility testing
Depending on the results, Accelerated physical therapists, occupational therapists and athletic trainers (who work with athletes at high schools), will recommend next steps, which may include an appointment with a board-certified physician who best meets the needs of the patient. Additionally, Accelerated may offer the patient advice on strengthening exercises and non-surgical options for treatment.
